Kwinana Industries Youth Art Awards

The Kwinana Industries Youth Art Awards is a great opportunity to feature local student artwork from a number of secondary schools in the region.

KIC in conjunction with Fremantle Ports was proud to host the 2017 Youth Arts Awards held on 15 March.   Categories included Visual Art, Digital Media, Fabrics, Woodwork and Metalwork and all artwork will be on display at the Gary Holland Community Centre.

 Youth Arts March 2017

"The KIC Art Awards is just one of the many ways that industry works with young people to help encourage the development of the talents of our local youth to realise their potential, which is key as we will be relying on them in the future to provide the lifeblood which keeps our business and our communities healthy.  With more than 100 entries this year, the judging process was very tough. All finalists can be very proud of reaching this stage".

Des Gillen, Vice President, Kwinana Industries Council.
