Cockburn, Kwinana and Rockingham are part of the South West Corridor of Metropolitan Perth; one of the fastest growing and diverse regions of Western Australia. This area is one of Australia’s most productive regions, with a Gross Regional Product of over $20 billion.
The South West Corridor is responsible for one in every six dollars generated in Western Australia. There are over 350,000 residents and around 26,000 businesses in the 619.4 km2 Corridor. Kwinana, Cockburn and Rockingham are three of six local governments in the region.
