Coogee Chemicals
Since its inception in 1971 as a small Western Australian copper sulphate producer, Coogee Chemicals has established itself as a significant chemical manufacturer and shore-side tank terminal operator in Australia and Malaysia. Coogee manufactures chemicals for supply to the mining / agricultural and process industries at seven sites around Australia and Malaysia. In addition we operate shore-side tank terminals for the import and distribution of bulk liquid chemicals at Kwinana, Port Hedland, Townsville and Brisbane as well as owning and operating a dangerous goods transport fleet of road tankers in Western Australia and Queensland. The company’s growth can be attributed in large part to its “can do” culture and the strategy of seeking out niche market opportunities when it either has or can develop significant competitive advantages.
