Apprenticeship and traineeships are a great way to start your career. They combine practical work experience with structured training. As an apprentice or trainee, you enter a formal training contract with an employer that leads to a nationally-recognised qualification. If you are interested in traditional trades like metals, manufactory and automotive services then you would consider an apprenticeship.
